I'm happy to announce Miracle A/S will be the new home for DUDE. For support contact http://www.miracleas.dk
Due to the sensitive nature of this tool it will not be open sourced nor will it made be publicly available.
- DUDE can now extract data without the need for a valid system tablespace (data dictionary) - a best guess is done for datatypes using a heuristic scan if no datadictionary is available
- began testing on IBM AIX and Sun Solaris (8i & 9i)
- added routines to extract data out of blocks in 9i ASSM tablespaces - ASSM or Automatic Segment Space Management in Oracle 9i puts extra metadata in the blocks to keep track of free space
- automatic datafile number resolving - automatic dictionary parsing at startup - added 'dump TABLESPACE' command - ascii flatfiles now use owner.tablename as filename instead of OBJECTID - bug solved regarding OBJECTID/DATAOBJECTID - bug solved regarding multiple datafiles/tablespace - added option for user defined field separater - rewrote I/O buffers : circular buffers instead of linked list - integrating routines for LITTLE ENDIAN platforms (currently only BIG endian) - adding routines for new Oracle 9i datatypes
