JPL offers an option in its preferences to preserve file modification times when transferring files. However, even with this option checked, when restoring from a previous backup done with JPL, file modification times appear not to be preserved. A workaround is to unzip the backup archive in the Finder and then transfer the files manually with JPL.

When I select "synchronize clocks", it sets the Psion's clock to exactly 1 hour ahead of the correct current time. This may have to do with the fact that I live in time zone GTM+01:00, or with daylight savings. Both my Mac and my Psion are using the same, correct location and DST settings. I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.8, jpl2alpha5, and a German Series 5mx Pro.
