I fixed my problem by re-implementing the functionality provided by [sendKeys](http://jameleon.sourceforge.net/jiffie-plugin/xref/net/sf/jameleon/plugin/jiffie/util/IEUtility.html) using jacob directly in a custom tag.
It works now, but I don't know what has caused the issue. I didn't change very much. Strange...

I can no longer download the attached file. But I am wondering if the script isn't doing a google search and then clicking on a link that points to a different site. If so, I believe this is a weakness in Selenium where you can only test a single hostname.
