Found and fixed it. The problem is solved it IVCon 1.18.

Hello, I have used IVCon-TL 1.17 to convert a .3ds file into a .wrl one successfully, except for IVCon forgot to close all brackets ("}") for Shape nodes.
There was no problem because I was able to do that and then successfully open the wrl.
Just wanted to report :)

I will start work on the trueSpace format as soon as I have some free time.
Haven't decided yet if I'll be working on .cob or .scn format support.
As about GUIs - I don't think there are any for IVCon.
If there are any GUIs, please notify me so I could link to them.

This converter has couldn't read files of smf format. I found error in a line that exists in a information about texture file.

The program is being slowly fixed, but it would be easier to expand it with any information about what is wrong.
If you can't load/write a specific file properly, please make a bug report, including the file content.
Note that you can attach a file to the bug report. If you have problems doing this, you can also use any free file hosting service - searching in google will give you many of...
