When visiting the website http://www.macmation.com/ the rendering is wrong.
The space used for the display is very small, like if the site was zoomed out at 10%. Cf. attached screenshot.
Same result using WebKit (by the way, there should be no space between Web and Kit) user agent, or iPhone user agent.
The website is first shown properly, and very quickly zoom out by clipping.
It is...

Should iPhoney be enhanced, it would be nice to see it handling the same rich media the phone itself can see (running a Preview context?) and, on the simpler side, filtering out all the events that shouldn't be available such as :hover

The Open Location function is not working for me. I'm on 10.4.11. It will not allow me to type in a URL into the browser or by the Open Location feature.

I use the Wordpress Mobile Edition plugin by Crown Favorite to make my site mobile device compatible. For some reason iPhoney doesn't detect it. Here's a link so you know what plugin I'm referring to:

When you flip the view, the onorientationchange doesn't trigger. With my site i have some CSS changes when you alter the orientation of the iPhone, but I cannot test it with the simulator.

Hi,
So I am new to IPhoney and I was wondering what this product is currently good for in terms of simulator testing vs device testing.
I can get my hands on a real IPhone if need be, but I would like to know what types of bugs I would typically see once I get from IPhoney testing to IPhone tests.
Just curious as I am a QA technician and want to do the best I can for my company.

Hi I just downloaded iPhoney and noticed that click targets/links are not accurate at all. For example, To click on a link/target, I have to position my mouse WAY lower and to the right on the screen than the actual link.

When unchecking "Zoom To Fit" under the View menu, it doesn't keep it unchecked when iPhoney quits and is relaunched. Instead the option is always checked when the application starts.

iPhoney is working alright, but it is showing scrollbars on web pages that give content that goes beyond the vertical size of the screen. This is the desirable behaviour for a normal browser, but iPhone's Safari doesn't work that way, and many pages break because of that, since iPhone pages render at exactly 320 pixels wide, and they asume no scrollbar is going to come up and take a few pixels...
