It appears that the tamil font is not installed even
though I had installed the acharya software. The only
two fonts I can see in my windows fonts folder are
iitmbrl and iitmipa.
I became aware of this problem only when I visited the
following page and saw weird characters in my browser:

Won't it be a good idea for the editor...

I downloaded the software and tried to use it but find
it difficult to proceed as I don't know tamil typing.
It is very tedious to pick out the individual
characters from the onscreen keyboard.
Is it possible to develop a simple typing tutor for
each language that will run first time users through a
set of lessons to quicken the typing process? I am
willing to make a small contribution...
