In Vim insert mode, ctrl-w deletes the previous typed word (sort of like command mode db). I miss this feature.

IdeaVIM is the first thing I look for to install right after installing IntelliJ. Are any of the other IdeaVIM developers planning to support IntelliJ 9.0 when it releases next month? Personally, I don't think I will upgrade to 9.0 unless my main interface to IntelliJ (i.e. IdeaVIM) comes along with it.

Jetbrains changed the public api that IdeaVIM uses. When I try to edit a file that is currently not checked out from TFS, I get the following exception from IdeaVIM. Unfortunately, this renders either the EAP versions of Idea useless to me or IdeaVIM. Right now, I choose to keep the older EAP versions of Idea so I can keep using IdeaVIM...
