Hi,
the number after the alpha is the SVN revision, so if you use something like 'svn export -r41 https://hourglass.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/hourglass/trunk/hourglass', you should get the sources.
Regarding your MIDlet, I have nothing against it and it could be a nice extension, nevertheless, it's not on my priority list (and I would need to learn JavaME programming), so don't expect it...
