I can confirm this behavior. The main window shows, but everything within the client area is transparent. Click in this area updates the status bar cursor positions. I have a screen shot if that will help (I don't see any place I can attach it here)

What a great program.
I use it every day for altering Cad/Cam files so I can use the file but alter the room name or number for my labelling.
I have it on my work Computer & it works great
I put it on my home computer & every time I open a file I get this message.

Normal behaviour for a program is that when the user press "Search/Find again" and the user hasn't searched earlier they are presented with the search form.
In short, when I press either the button on the screen, go through the monitor or simply press F3 I should get the same result as when I hit for instance Ctrl-F if I haven't searched already.
Additionally the font needs to be changed...

In the structures, also data types with a number of bytes that is not "usual" should be usable - e.g. a three-byte integer. (of course, LSB or MSB first has to be specified there too)
It also would be nice to have structs with variable length: especially for strings more flexibility would be nice. (C strings with 0 (zero) termination AND pascal strings with the length specified in another...

If this project isn't dead it would be great if in Pixel View the JPG format could be implemented.
BTW: The Pixel View is an extremely interesting feature. I once had to help somebody getting pictures out of a damaged WinWord document (she didn't keep the original ones). I wish I had Hexplorer at that time.

When I export to "Formatted binary" the application crashes.
Exporting to other types (such as "ASCII Hex") works fine.
