Hi, I'm new at this. Would you please tell me how to
make my chapter headings appear in my Help File Index?
It shows the Topic headings but not the Chaper
headings? Thank you.

I am using Helpmaker 7.3.19. I have been trying to give my screen shots a shadow. It looks nice in the image editor but when I pull the image into helpmaker, It has an ugly black box around it.
Am I doing something wrong? or is it a bug in the image editor?

The generated HTML for CHM creation is dreadful. Even for empty items the code is very buggy, html and head tags within the body and so on.

First part includes some strange things I recognized
-Empty trash not in trash node contextmenu
-no additional shortcuts, the strange Layout with big
buttons confusses and e.g. ET, ESC is assigned to
Cancel,OK automatically
-no autostatus
The status of a fresh project should allways be 'needs
a review' because the first time its often just to get
a structure that is filled later...

Thx for developing an OSS for .CHM design!
-Add child in Tree.Pulldown possible even if the item
is a topic. In the Addmenue it's disabled to add childs
-No chapter page? I tested Help&Manual and I think that
there were even pages that could be edited for the topics
-No menue change in tree
Even if I open the pulldownmenue in the tree if im in
the 'projects' level theres 'add...' and...

Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked before. I've been using HelpMaker for a few weeks now without a hitch. Recently, whenever I try to compile in the HTML format I get a "compiler not found" error message.
Does anyone have any tips how to get around this?

I want to create a new help project. This should
document an API. I used NDoc to generate the API
documentation.
But I want to extend this docu with additional
information. NDoc does not provide a solution.
So I decide to integrate the NDoc-generated docu in a
new help project. Unfortunately HelpMaker does not
support the integration of other HTML Help Projects.
