right, I'm using subtitles for language learning and it would help me greatly if there was a way to either select subtitles directly by clicking on them in the video (currently I'm selecting them in the accompanying subs text files)- is it possible to select em directly by clicking on them in the video? is there any program that can do this? thanks.

Is this still alive?
Two little questions:
1) where does MPC serve pages from when there's nothing in ./webroot ?
2) is that page (controls.html) available anywhere else but the browser? Because that link there is 404.

Please can you move the ini settings file to user's account folders i.e. to AppData folders.
Settings should be specific to account users and not to windows as a whole.
I don't want other users to see my history list in the ini file which is located in the program location.
I have turned off the ini file option and used the registry to store settings, but MPC takes a long time to launch...

i find the only solution to force mpс play 24bit sound is to recode it to 24 bit flac.

I would like to see a spectrum analyzer in MPC when I play an audio track.
Is there an **API** for a **visualization plugin** in MPC?
I was considerung to develop a bridge for VST which has many analyzers already if there is no such plugin yet for MPC.
There must be some kind of APIs to connect to....
So far I could not find anything.... this is too popular software to easily find...

This is the Media Player Classic forum/site, and Media Player Classic hasn't been updated since 2006 when Windows 7 wasn't around. The Media Player Classic Home Cinema (a fork of MPC) site is below. Maybe they can help you there.
