FreeBSD 4.x doesn't have atoll(). Can you suggest a workaround to get it to compile?.

Function libnet_select_device(), which try to autodetect
the first not
loopback interface, makes program go to Segmentation
fault when there aren't
available interface (output of ifconfigw will be NULL or
only lo).
This bug happens only when calling libnet_select_device
() in a GTK callback,
while in a shell code (as tested) return -1 and a *ebuf.
