  • This is my all time favourite graphics tool. Easy to use, can do almost anything and results are publication quality. I have used GLE to make figures for several articles, created figures for lecture etc. notes, and for web pages.
  • Thanks for Glx, it's the best!

  • excellent application.
  • good job
  • After having been turned into a nerve wreck by gnuplot, I discovered GLE and accomplished the task that took me 2 days of work in gnuplot (and never completed) in just 1 hour. GLE is easy, flexible and extendable and is a perfect match for LaTeX. The documentation is excellent. It's easy to extend the existing libraries. I created three new components in the electronics.gle library, and it worked in the first 'compile'-attempt.The overall quality of the product is demonstrated by how easy it is to accomplish your tasks, allowing for focus on the real problems you're trying to solve.
  • Probably the easiest plotting software to use and its LaTeX integration is seamless. 3D graphs need some improvements (mainly visual style) so I recommend the implementation of PLPlot Library (http://plplot.sourceforge.net/index.php).
