Hi, Jules,
There look like not much activities on this project at Eclipse site. The latest pacakge was June 8, 2008. I took a look at the roadmap, it mentioned it's going to change the backend to GMF. Wondering when that would happen? Also, do you have a timeline post RC4?

Currently, the GEMS editor does not warn against a connection having a name beginning with a lowercase letter, unlike the names of Nodes and Attributes. Needs fixing.
