Well, that error message occurs when I attempt to query the finance.google.com site with the stock symbol you specify. I'm not really doing anything fancy except opening an http connection to the page. Have installed this app (V0.04) on both a home PC (XP Home) and a work PC (XP Pro). Both share internet access via the same WLAN router but the Pro machine does so via a secure (company) VPN.
Ther home machine works fine but the work one refuses to add stocks, complaining after about 30 secs with a dialog box entitled "Ughh..." that simply says "Couldn't find that symbol! Double check it.".
