Hi Kevin, Found the following in a Programming SharePoint For Developers book: As the following application page shows, you can also update the properties of an IIS web site: < %@ Page Language=”C#” % > < %@ Assembly Name=”Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71E9BCE111E9429C” % > You will notice a similarity to my error message...

Hmmm I've never tested it against 2008. I'd guess it would still work as long as they didn't change around the security stuff. As long as you are using a standard sql login and not a windows account it should work. Is that the complete error from the first message?.

TCPI/P is enabled on port 1433 - this is SQLServer2008 if this is makes any difference. Can you tell from the error whether I have got all the FlexSQL pieces in the right place? TIA, Mic.

It should be the server name or ip address of the server you want to login to. One thing to look out for is how your local server is setup. You will need to enable TCP/IP connectivity using the management tool for it to work. http://kbase.gfi.com/showarticle.asp?id=KBID002920 Hope that helps you! Kevin.

  • Logon question

Question: What is the Logon dialog expecting in the way of server name and info. I am using credentials for a SQLServer user with the server name e.g. MyServer for a SQlServer 2005 that is on the same computer. I get a Login Error: Request for the permission of type System.Data.SqlClient.SQLClientPermission,System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0...

No I started it, but never finished it. I do have the latest checked in so you can try to get it working. I think it was actually working ok, but I never tested it enough to confirm. http://flexsqladmin.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/flexsqladmin/Webservices/ColdFusion/trunk/.

  • Followup: RE: Copy text from the grid

Hi David, Thanks for checking out the application and the good words. I'm sorry but there isn't a way to copy the text of the result set yet. I'm not sure if you are a flex developer or not, but you could get the source and add your own logic to do what you are looking for. I haven't worked on the application in a long time and it's in a need of an update ;) Let me know how it goes...

  • Copy text from the grid

I have tested FlexSQLAdmin and it´s really great and an excellent solution to provide access to DMZ database servers to users that need to do queries on the databases, like developers looking for trouble in the data, without actually having to open database ports and risk the execution of data imports to the local machine that could affect the database performance. However I'd like to know how...

  • Followup: RE: Error loading WSDL

I'm not too much of .net developer either, but it solved the problem I had when I was developing it. I've been a CF guy since 2000, but I couldn't get everything I wanted to do to work in CF ( the db stuff, like nulls, record counts, etc). I've recently been working on rewriting the backend using CF, but I haven't had the time to finish it. I'd try to get it to work on your local machine to...
