i also have a problem with populating the PopupBlockerWhitelist. My VB script is changing the value in the registry , and it looks correct when you look via regedit. For example, if my script adds www.boston.com , this is how it looks in the registry:
but if you look in google toolbar, the value that was added via the script doesn't show up.
is this...

Would it be possible to support some way of adding preferences for extensions?
I realize that it's highly unrealistic to add out of the box support for every possible firefox extension and that's not what I'm asking. Instead, what I was envisioning is some kind of utility script that would parse a text file with the extensions settings from about:config and output an additional adm template...

What I want to do ideally is keep all their settings, cookies, etc on their networked home directory (so when they log into another computer with their roaming profile everything is there), but I don't want the temp internet files to constantly being read/wrote across the network to their home directory for performance sake. And if the temp internet files cache can be in their Local Settings...

We currently have the .adm and login.vbs in our environment, and it redirects everything to the persons home folder on the server. How can I tweak it to make just the temporary internet files Cache directory to be in the local profile on c:\document and settings\UserName\Local Settings\.

firefox_startup.vbs does not seem to work on Windows 7. When it runs, there are no errors, but none of the settings set by the adm file take affect. It works fine with XP. Any ideas?.

Hello Guys,
I´m migrating to AD 2008 , and need to know two things:
1- Is FirefoxADM compatible with Windows Vista?
2 - I tried to use ADMX Migrator Tool. But get some errors. Take a look:
firefoxdefaults.adm:7 -- Policy GeneralSettings does not specify a SupportedOn value.
firefoxdefaults.adm:15 -- String Warning! Enabling this setting will override and replace home page, Automatic...

With the 0.4.* scripts, you could do this by adding the shutdown script to your group policy. This rolls back changes made by the Computer Configuration settings (startup script/firefoxlock.adm). Similarly use logoff script if implementing User Configuration settings.
This functionality will change with the 0.5.*/0.6 development where I will implement a better rollback function in...

In case anyone else is struggling with this...
After doing some testing with the GPO settings for firefox I was unable to then deactivate the policies on my machine even after removing my computer from the policy.
I had to remove all of the 'lock' settings that were added to the bottom of the 'prefcalls.js' file that's located in %program files%\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\autoconfig
There...
