Hi Marco, OK, having some patches would be a nice start. I just sent an inquiry to Thomas, aka aano. I'll wait a day or so for his reply. What's your opinion on the name to use at Launchpad? Faces, FacesII, FFFaces? br? Are you cold :-) ? Roger.

Hi Roger, I am not the right candidate for the admin since I lack some technical knowledge, and time. But I am willing to contribute some patches and workarounds, and hints about the most important flaws. br Marco.

Hi Marco et al., I am willing to spend some time trying to transfer the sources that Thomas a.k.a. 'aano' put into http://repo.or.cz/w/faces-project.git over to Launchpad. I would like to call that friendly fork 'facesII' or 'fffaces' (**f**riendly **f**ork of **faces**). Launchpad is comparable to sourceforge, being a software collaboration platform (more so than the github used by aano). It...

  • Followup: RE: faces alive?

Hi Rune, I use it for almost a year for a challanging project of similar size. I have no need for splitting the file but I think there is a message in the help forum explaining how to do it. I use quite tricky schedules with different scenarios, multiple baselines, different rules for resource allocation, and many reports for tracking, invoicing with complex payment rules, prognosis...

  • Followup: RE: faces alive?

Hi Marco, I'm about to start a 3 year project, where I'm looking for a tool to plan and track the project activities. The project is in the size of about 250 man months, 6 organisations, 15+ actors. Do you (or anyone else) believe faces is a good and stable tool for handling a project like this? I've been looking in some of the faces examples, but I've not been able to find a way to...

Hello Bertrand, No, I found no solution for issue 2. But anyway I didn't work any longer with faces in real world because I was not able to export my project data to MS-Project in that time. I need to use mpp on my Job. Bye, Tilo.

  • Followup: RE: Faces and Open ERP (Open Object)

Hi, Fabien , Great idea ! Now , the bad "news" : Michael Reithinger, the Faces's author do not seem to maintain any more faces :-(. Perhaps have you read the thread "faces alive?" (https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=2476028&forum_id=520578). In this thread, Marco (marco12) propose to get involved in this project. Perhaps, Marco should be now your...
