I tried with the previous plugin version 2.1.6.1 and still getting an error.
I have a doubt now - what is it required to run this plugin? CC remote client or CC native client?.

I just installed 2.1.6.2 with eclipse 3.4.2 (and CCRC 7.0.1)
All the clearcase actions are disabled -
when looking at one of my projects properties - I get an error when looking at the clearcase element properties
The following error shows up in the eclipse logs:

Never mind, my mistake. I had this ibm thing in my Software Updates sites.

I have Eclipse 3.4, and I try to update with the URL given in your User Guide, and I get this message:
"No repository found at http://www3.software.ibm.com/bmd/pub/software/rationalsdp/clearcase/60/update"

This error is caused by a change in the cleartool lsstgloc command in newer versions of the clearcase client application. When a file or location is not in a view it prints out "** NONE **", rather than printing out "cleartool: Error:".

When selecting an element from the tree in the Package Explorer and right click and select properties,
Under 'Clearcase Element Properties' Version is empty.
