Hello,
I downloaded the application. I'm running Windows XP
and seems to work just fine with all other Java
related applications. However, when I attempt to
launch dupliFinder-0.1.jar, I get the following JVM
Launcher error; "Could not find the main class.
Program will exit." Looking inside the JAR, the
main.class file does exist. Could ther be a possible
build/package issue or...

Thanks heaps for the bug report :-)
I have noticed this problem too - I don't think it happens
in version 0.09, so I'll have to maybe go back and work out
whats happening.
To make things quicker, I might use a faster hashing
algorithm, maybe MD4.
I'll get to fixing these problems soon :-)
Thanks for using dupliFinder!

This is a nice little utility. Perfect for those
occasions where my attempts to semi-manually sync files
across multiple machines creates some dupes.
One thing I've found, though, is that if I search a
directory, delete one of each duped pair that it finds,
and run the process again, more dupes are found. On
the latest directory, which had ~130 files, I went
through 4-5 iterations bef.

Windows XP
I think that Java 1.5 does all this for you, but if it
doesn't all you need to do is make sure that .jar is
associated with "javaw".
One way to do this is to:
1. Open up your control panel
2. Open "Folder Options"
3...
