That's odd - it must be a bug in the program somewhere, since all of the weapons in dopewars have unlimited ammo. And the game shouldn't crash when you kill Agent Smith either - definitely also a bug. If you can attach a debugger to the program it may be possible to track down the second problem at least.

In an attempt to make the game higher stakes I added more flux to the prices, much higher debt, and a few more law enforcement (including bounty hunters!) before it came to Agent Smith. Unfortunately I've run into a problem when they 'just stand there and take it'. Apparently they ran out of Ammo or something and once I get to this point they all thereafter do as much (Or rather, as little)...

I've no idea where to begin - can you explain it step by step please?.

Just open a new terminal and run "dopewars -c" to add a computer-controlled player. If you want multiple such players, simply repeat.

How can I enable multiple computer-controlled players in linux?.

gtk_adjustment_new is passed wrong parameters so that value is can't go any higher that 10 bellow maximum buy-able/drop-able number of drugs.
Attached proposed patch to fix the bug.

Better idea when you right click you get four choices, buy 1, buy x, get info, or close.
Buy x would mean buy a certain number. Get info would make a screen with the name of the drug, a picture of it, low and high costs, and a breif summary of what it does.
