  • Configure Ide's

Is there any sort of doc related to configuring an ide to be able to compile and generate the binary file? I have Dev-C++, Visual Studio etc.... I'd just prefer to work from a tool since I am a junior c/c++ guy.... Thx!!

  • DS version

Just wondering if there were plans for a Nintendo DS version. Figure it's mostly a matter of adding ARM9 and the new registers, from what little I know about DS.

  • Error

When using devkitadv to compile a gba-rom I alway get such an error: Deleting intermediate files and output files for project 'CPPTest - Win32 Debug'. --------------------Configuration: CPPTest - Win32 Debug-------------------- Microsoft (R) Program Maintenance Utility Version 6.00.8168.0 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1988-1998. • Followup: Argh! Double spacing??

Argh! wtf? Why did it double space my post?! That's so frustrating!! That is _not_ how I formatted my message in notepad. Bah, I just assumed it pasted properly (it did so the first time I pasted it, I had to change something though, damn!) - O.O.G.

  • r5-beta3 bug (or am I just too new to this)?

I've recently decided to give DevKitAdv-r5-beta3 a try (thankfully kept my r4 around just in case), and I've run into a snag.... I suppose a little emulator and compilation information is in order: VisualBoyAdvance Emulator Version 1.7.2 (in the event it is my emulator). > gcc --version GCC (GCC) 3.2.2 (DevKit Advance R5 Beta 3) Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

  • NLMConv.exe missing.

How come, NLMConv is **NEVER** in any binary download. It's part of the makefile, so why would you delete it to .zip the binaries up ?????.

  • Devkitadv 5 , beta3 and make under windows XP

I tried unsuccessfully to get the make to work under the above Devkitadv version. The only thing I can do with "make" is make clean, any other target fails with an error message originating from "/bin/sh" When I run make from the nice blue cmd window, say for example in the Xframe directory. I get errors from /bin/sh not beeing able to find make. I belive this stems...
