Access the simple dbf database format the easiest possible way. This library consists basically of only two files (dbf.h and dbf.c), although C++ wrappers and sample GUI apps using wxWidgets and MFC are included, plus a C# implementation with no GUI.

Works great on Windows 2000, compiled with Visual Studio 2005. Changing project settings to statically link MFC lets the demo DBFExplorer app run with no other dependencies, only 508 KB. Fast, light, and beautiful.

Hi, demo looks great. Could you perhaps include some short guide how to compile it? I got some linking problems, probably due to wrong compiled dll of wxwidgets.

I needed to convert some ESRI shapefiles which include a DBASE component and this library worked great and was easy to use. recommended!
