  • Documentation

Is there a documentation file that describes the api and has details on how to use the various functions available in the Wiiremote framework? Something like that would be incredibly useful for making custom programs using the framework. I can't seem to find it, but I might have missed.

  • Followup: RE: Building problems

I managed to somehow build the wiiremote.framework to get the wiiremote.framework folder. Then I found it in Spotlight and copied it to the folder with all the other DarwiinRemote source code files in it. Then, I had to uncheck/delete the existing "Wiiremote.framework" from the main list of files and right click > add > Existing Framework... and specify where I just copied it...

Make sure you download the WiiRemote.framework, I think you need to copy it into /Library/Frameworks but you can also copy it into your build directory. This might only be the first step but it is essential.

  • Threshhold in IR movement (like the wii)

Hey guys, You'll notice that when you use the wii small movements to the wiimote do not register... It would be nice to implement the thresh-hold into the WiiRemoteFramework. Is that an easy thing to do? It should at least be enough that when you push a button, it doesnt move the pointer :) J.

  • Building problems

I just got xcode to try to compile my own application using the wiiremote framework. I downloaded the source code for DarwiinRemote 0.6 and clicked "Build and Go" in xcode. I now have 148 errors and 153 warnings. Also, in the list of files in xcode, "WiiRemote.framework" is in red. Could someone please explain to me how to make this work?.

  • Not Being Discovered

I just downloaded and installed v.6. When I open the program, press "find wiimote, and press 1 and 2 simultaneously, nothing happens with the program. No error, nothing. I'm running an intel based mac OS: Tiger 10.4.11 Bluetooth is on and discoverable I have connected other bluetooth devices to this mac before The wiimote has fresh batteries and works fine with my...

  • Open applications with home-button

Hi there! I'd like to see a way to set a keybinding to open selected app. Frontrow, for example. I know this is possible by creating a new keybinding in quicksilver that opens selected app and then bind darwiinremote to this keybinding, although a built-in solution would be a lot easier.

  • Followup: RE: Mouse Mode (IR) anyone?

After testing the device today with a large whiteboard, I found that the Wiimote detected the IR array quite nicely, however, the motions to navigate the screen were quite minute. Is there anyway to increase the angle of motion required to translate that motion into cursor movement? The slightest shake of my hand sent the cursor wildly over the screen. Any ideas?.

The IR mouse mode seems to work fine with me. I am using OSX 10.5.8 on a unibody macbook pro. I did construct my own sensor bar which I intend to mount on top of my whiteboard for use with a projector. Check out he project at the site below: http://web.me.com/bremnerr/Haptics_and_Motion_Tracking_in_Education/WiiMote_III.html.
