Barcode Scanner Reviews

I tried this, and it works. But when I scan the barcodes named code 39, it could not read, is there anything wrong with it? I encode 127-137 in it, and it starts and ends with a *. I used this barcode generator in www.aspper.com

All menus are in chinese. I can't understand how to use it, I've tested all options and none of them seems to scan barcodes. Please add some (basic) info in english.
