Cozy is a backup solution for Linux. It aims to be similar to Apple's Time Machine, with the difference that Cozy recognizes duplicate files and incremental backups are realized through binary diffs to save space.

Features

  • Easy configuration: only specify where your data is located and where it should be backed up.
  • Backs up your data automatically if your backup disk is permanently connected or reminds you to back up your data if you use an external disk
  • Very space efficient
  • backup is browsable with your normal file browser (so far only Nautilus is supported)
  • can easily be integrated in other applications as well
