DownloadChicken of the VNC is a VNC client for Mac OS X. A VNC client allows one to display and interact with a remote computer screen. In other words, you can use Chicken of the VNC to interact with a remote computer as though it's right next to you.

The interface is pretty horrific. Sometimes it just locks up the Mac in a gray screen and won't accept the fullscreen toggle shortcut key. Yikes!

Useless. VNC Client comes with OSX. From Finder, "Go | Connect to Server" (or CMD-K), then (for example): vnc://ip-or-dns.com:5900/ If you want to pre-populate the user or user/pass, the standard HTTP conventions work: The only reason to use a 3rd party client is stronger security (which Chicken does not provide).

This app is poorly maintained, not having a release in 4 years. The fork looks to be a preferable alternative. The forked project name is also on SF with the name of just "chicken"

It has nothing of what one might expect in a modern vnc client. There are other, alas not open-source, alternatives; also built-in screensharing works better, especially in a mac2mac situation
