  • ColladaMax Error

Hi All. My first post here. I just downloaded ColladaMax FREE 3.05C for Max 2009 (trial edition) and installed it. No problems were reported during instalation. When I run Max after installing I keep getting this error: ColladaMaz.dle failed to initialize - error 126: Impossible to locate module. Any idea about what's wrong? Thanks in advance. José Senra.

  • Followup: RE: UV animaton

Thanks for the fast reply.. Did a bit of research, turns out that the UV animation can be set in Maya for the export. (I am using 3dsmax, so no wonder I never found it). A little more testing also showed that the Online game I wanted to use it for does not support animation imports, its a setting that needs to be done on the platform. Oh well, was worth a try. Thanks again :)

  • Followup: RE: UV animaton

A UV animation would go in the <library_animations> tag as an <animation> and its <channel> tag would target the material usually something like effectName-fx/common/offsetU.

  • UV animaton

Just wondering, is it possible to set an UV animation in a collada file? I thought that was something that is normally done in the game platform (or what ever other third party use the file is going to be used for) If it is possible to add an UV animation to the textures, please let me know under which tag on the DAE file one can add it. Thanks in advanced.

  • Followup: RE: multiple uv maps in collada file

Sadly, I can't get 3.05B or 3.05C to work on 3dsmax 2009, it gives me an error code while loading 3dsmax: DLL <C:\program files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2009\PlugIns\ColladaMax.dle> failed to initialize. Error code 126 - The specified module could not be found. I am currently using Windows 7, I can't get 3dsmax 2008 to run correctly on Windows seven, which is what I use to use. So, right...
