Thanks for choosing 230 CMS. Well, since these is just a start in the development of this script, the program might be weak in several areas.
But that's no problem. If you have downloaded this to use it any way, then you are the adventurous type :-). Try it out.

230CMS is a Content Management System with a difference. Some of its features include:
1. Beautiful and easy-to-understand content formatting syntax such as @reply syntax links, lists etc.
2. 3 user-levels: registered, moderators and admin.
3. ETC.

												REQUIREMENTS
												
1. Apache Web server.
2. PHP 5.
3. MySQL DBMS.

											INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
											
To install:

1. Download the latest release of the script.
2. Extract the package. In the extracted folder there are 2 folders: *230 DOCUMENTATION* and the current release, *230CMS X.X*.
3. Create your database. *!Important* 
4. Open the PHP file, *230.php* that is within the *230CMS X.X* folder using a good text-editor such as Notepad++ and insert:
--- your database's name and password (you should have a working database at this point), 
--- your admin details (these are only needed for installation),
--- type in the path to the Template and the Theme to use for your site's appearance.
5. Next, remove the *"230 DOCUMENTATION"* folder and save it to your hard disk. 
6. Remove the *230CMS X.X* folder. This is the folder you have to upload to your server. Upload it.
7. Open your browser and type in this URL to the Installer:---http://www.yoursite.com/install.php---, or if you have placed the script in a sub-directory use: ---http://www.yoursite.com/subdirectory_name/install.php---.
8. The installer is simple and straightforward. See the image below.
9. Beginning from r0.2 you can now enable the robots.txt file that comes with the application. Just rename the *robots-sample* file in the folder to *robots.txt*. You can add the user-agents you want to disallow from indexing your site.
10. After installation you can now visit your home page at ---http://www.yoursite.com/index.php--- OR if you installed in a sub-directory visit it at ---http://www.yoursite.com/subdirectory_name/index.php---.
