Quick use, lightweight overview tool best ran from the command line to view and search public info on Java classes. Gives a full overview of a class, from its public methods, constructors and fields to its superclass and interfaces, with search of public methods.
Set your preferred browser in ClassViewerConfig.xml--which can be done with a text editor, to open javadocs right to the method with a double-click.
Can also be configured to open your own code with your preferred text editor. And can open your code to a particular public method if your text editor supports a line number as an argument, which gedit does so highly recommend it.
That's a fun feature.
Configured by an XML file. Is a stateless app.
Download includes: ClassViewer.jar and ClassViewerConfig.xml
Can be run from the jar. Run unpacked from the jar from the command line, for classpath and local file access. No installer used or included.
