Hello kcnsolutions! Since it was about 2 months ago when I installed (and uninstalled) this project I can't honestly where I put the files, but I do remember that the instructions did say where.
I think this project has been abandoned and am fairly sure that it won't run at all on CF8 - I spent hours fiddling around. I've looked at other options and JBuddy-CF, although commercial, looks like...

I am trying to get the project running on CF8 as well. It's Ent on Win 2k3 Server, so it's J2EE. While trying to add the new gateway type, I keep seeing an error: "Error creating gateway type. Unable to find or load Gateway class com.oosterwijk.cfmx.Yahoogateway". Would you do me a huge favor and list where you stuck what files in the directory structure? I'm lost here and the...

Sorry, I started this in the forum not realising there was a support feature of SourceForce. Unfortunately I can't get the MSN instance to start using the JML jar files on CF8.
The gateway and jar files were added to CF without any errors. CF shows the new instance is "starting" but remains in that state indefinately. I'm using JML 1.0b2 dated Aug 07. The CF log files show

Dear Leon,
I installed the MSN gateway on CF7 and the IMTEST Gateway Instance as described in the readme file. The firs time I was able to start the instance and it was working fine, I could send messages from MSN and it responded to me with the echo.
Then I stopped the instance and I could not start it again any more. I did not change anything in the configuration.
