Ceedling is a great wrapper around the arcane syntax of setjmp and longjmp mechanism. This is a great lightweight framework that makes error handling in C a breeze and much less invasive than juggling return codes.

I'm the developer... but my team uses this every day. We've found it to simplify our error handling and make much more readable code.
