Hi. My old PC can only boot from floppy,hard-disk and net. So now when I want boot from a CD to install Linux I thought that SBM would be ideal. When booting from floppy, my CD-ROM is recognized both in BIOS and by SBM (version 3.7.1). However, my CD-ROM does not show up with number 'CD0 0' and name 'CD-ROM' as the documentation says. It turns up with number 'RD1 0' and name 'Removable'...

Hi, first of all, excuse for my bad english.
I'll want to customize a sbm theme, but the documentation
for this is very small.
Can you help me?
I install the SBM from my Debian to MBR and it is very
best program.
Thanks
Furly.

This patch is to be applied on top of the patches btmgr-1 to btmgr-4 by Jochen Hepp.
This will disable the "Save" option inside SBM if it is loaded from the linux loader. Without this patch, SBM will try to save its state to the first floppy drive, causing data loss if a floppy is inserted.

Vista refuse to boot if the Disk signature (NT Drive Serial Number) has changed. But SBM modifies that four bytes of the MBR (at offsets 0x1B8 to 0x1BB).
So to install SBM and keep the possibility to boot Vista, we need to do the following:
1) save the four bytes value (on paper for example);
2) install SBM;
3) restore the four bytes (and also set the preceding byte (0x1B7) to zero to keep...
