I got this half working. I used the commands provided but only locking works. When I bring my phone back into range my workstation doesn't unlock. Additionally, what exactly is the Proximity command and what should be used. Right now it still says 'xscreensaver-command -p' but a) looking at the xscreensaver-command help doesn't list a -p option and b) because I use the KDE screensaver I'm not...

basicly i have a phone, and a bluetooth adapter (unknown)
and i connect fine, but when im close to the computer where i want it to unlock it shows 0, when i go right next to adapter its always -25, -23 or it jumps back to 0!
and when i put it wayyy far away thru wals, its still 0.
but when im right beside my computer, and im covering up my phone it goes from 1-7
is there any way for me to...

I just wanna toss out there a couple additional features I'd love out there. And my one complaint.
My one complaint is the need to pair the computer and bluetooth device. I know a few people that go through their phones regularly and I'd rather just be able to add the mac address to the account/conf file when they're not paying attention then to pair.
Otherwise, I'd love to see functionality...

Hi,
The current icon used to indicate that BlueProximity is paused, is not sufficiently different from the 'normal' icon. This can be a little annoying.
The solution is to edit the current icon (as of BP 1.2.5) this can be found in:
/usr/share/blueproximity/pixmaps/blueproximity_pause.svg

I agree with you. I've already solved this problem by editing the file:
/usr/share/blueproximity/pixmaps/blueproximity_pause.svg
Just trying to work out how to submit it - the project hasn't been updated in quite some time! :-(.

Running 1.2.5 on Fedora 10 I notice that if I'm gone for a longer period of time +30 minutes ... my network gets disconnected.
