bcISAPIFilter makes it easy to develop ISAPI filter DLLs for IIS. ISAPI is used to intercept HTTP requests within IIS to change the behavior of the server. ISAPI Filters are different compared to ISAPI Extensions. ISAPI extensions respond to requests where as ISAPI filters transform input and output. Filters and extensions can work together to provide broader functionality.
