Great tool. But when you have multiple servers in different locations and also would like to backup your files, i prefer www.backupbird.com

The Following code does not work correct when w=1 or w=2 or w=3 or w=4
"if [ "$W" -le 05 ];then
REMW=`expr 48 + $W`
elif [ "$W" -lt 15 ];then
REMW=0`expr $W - 5`
else
REMW=`expr $W - 5`
fi"
For each above case, the "if" condition and "elif" condition both works and the value of REMW which is calculated in "if" condition gets replaced in the "elif" condition and becomes negative.
This issue needs to be correct

Love this free backup option and it works very well. Been using it for about 8 years without any issues. Don't use or even checkout this paid option listed below backupbird.com. Its not free and we Linux folks love free!! Its more like a spam review!

The last version is very usefull. It would be nice to have a script for cron.daily, so I did it!. Save the following as 'runautomysqlbackup.sh' and follow the instructions! #!/bin/sh ######################### # # # AutoMySQLBackup # # # ######################### # #version=3.0_rc2 # # This file runs the automatic MySQL backup from CRON # # USAGE: # # - Copy this file to /usr/local/bin # - Make the file executable by root # - Link it to cron.daily # # Commands to do it: # # sudo cp runautomysqlbackup.sh /usr/local/bin/ # sudo chown root:root /usr/local/bin/runautomysqlbackup.sh # sudo chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/runautomysqlbackup.sh # sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/runautomysqlbackup.sh /etc/cron.daily/runautomysqlbackup # /usr/local/bin/automysqlbackup /etc/automysqlbackup/myserver.conf

Thanks for this script. It was up and running in no time. I did run into an issue reported elsewhere, where diff would run out of memory. By installing patch 27 the issue was solved
