The gradient window bug seems to be rather old I suppose. The color bar slides when it shouldn't. If this is a feature, it's not very useful. It's OK to be able to slide the colors to pick a better gradient position (quite obvious), but not when it's not wanted (i.e. ALL the time).
The addition of this new "preview" pane is making the program crash more than usual. If you try to do something...

When doing a "render all" as soon as I hit "render" the gui dies. I cannot move any of the Apo windows, I cannot minimize them, I cannot close leftover windows (like the gradient browser). If I use the "Windows+D" key to show the desktop, all of the windows are hidden, but opening any other window (say a web browser) immediately pops up the Apo windows - this time in an arbitrary order (usually...

I came here looking for the exact same thing: on my core2 6700, 2.66GHz, (2 CPUs) with Apo 2.09 I seem unable to do long renders. It never makes it through the first image when I use the batch render script, with the new "render all" function it made it through one or two flames in a file, then on the third one it finished but never wrote the result to disk. The last two lines in the window...

hi, i've very new to using apophysis, but i already love it! however, i've encountered a problem with rendering larger images. at these larger resolutions (1600x1400+) only a small section of the preview window renders. i have 3GB of ram so i don't think it's a ram issue. any thoughts? thanks.

Of course. Just enter numbers there instead of selecting them from the drop down list.

Is it possible to render larger images than are availble in the drop down box? Is , how?.

Which is the real importance and necessity of FLAME 3 as an external renderer when using Apophysis 2.09?
I'm asking because I read about it, but Apophysis has its own rendering function!
Many thanks for the help,
Eduardo.

Just as an update, i've experimented with removing parts of the flame, and it seems that the final transform that gets applied on save is the problem... if I change it by hand back to a regular transform then everything is okay...
Is there any way I can stop this?.

Hi,
Apophysis is exhibiting some strange behaviour when I reload a 'hand' created flame after editing and then saving it. Essentially, the flame seems to turn to gibberish when I reload it, yet displays and renders absolutely fine until I save it and reload...
I have no idea what is causing this behaviour and am not sure as to a solution.
The only quirky thing I do is use the palette...
