What's happening?

  • Sorting / filtering on overview screen

    The sorting on the overview screen is right now limited to priority, status and due date. A sorting should be possible for all columns. Instead of having the filter possibility only on the front page it makes sense to have this possibility also on the task overview screen.

  • Logging of changes in tasks

    Making especially changes in due dates and status visible would help the project manager to control the project and monitor the tasks better.

  • Structured notes

    Plain text in the notes is not easy read, the entering of notes in a structured way would facilitate a fast overview of the last entries. The automatic filling in of date and user would make it easier to understand the note.

  • Project specific categories of tasks

    To have a good overview of project tasks a categorization of tasks is necessary. To have for example the possibility of assigning tasks to project phases or project topics. This only makes sense if the categories can be managed for each project/workgroup separately. An appropriate filter on the overview screen would be the consequence.

  • Opening an new task on the main screen

    It would be helpfull to open a new task directly on the main screen (overview of tasks, 'view task' screen), without opening a new mask to enter the task information. This allows a project leader to enter several tasks fast and efficient one after each other. It minimizes the amount of clicks until a task is entered.
