I face the same problem of the impossibility to run adagide. With my previous computer, running under Windows XP Pro SP2, adagide worked fine. On a newcomputer, still with Windows XP Pro SP2, adagide doesn't want to start.

Mmmh reminds me a case where I attempted to open a file on a network drive (with no assigned letter, on a path like "\\blabla\...". Could be a clue...

After installing, I attempt to open AdaGIDE through the adagide icon on the Windows XP (Pro w/ SP2)programs start menu. There is a flash of what appears to be a command window opening and closing and nothing else.
