--== Freeloader / project FreeNet ==-- This updated release of Freeloader is based on Linux Mint LMDE To be integrated with Reticulum for autoconfiguration of a wireless mesh network between nodes (https://reticulum.network/). *in development How to use: Download the latest .iso and burn it to DVD or use etcher / unetbootin to write the image to a USB thumb drive. https://www.balena.io/etcher/ https://sourceforge.net/projects/unetbootin/ Once copied, load the DVD or USB (depending on your media) into a modern (64-bit) PC. Hold the Delete key while your PC starts, set the DVD / USB to boot from your BIOS or use the boot menu (sometimes F11 / F12). If you have a Windows 10 PC you will need to disable secure boot as UEFI will be enabled. Password: Password for user free is fr33 Root is disabled but to access a root shell type sudo bash and enter the password. Be sure to backup any data before trying to install or try using a blank hard drive. Most likely you will need to enter /dev/sda1 to install the OS on your first partition and install the boot loader on /dev/sda. Unetbootin is already downloaded to the Download folder for easy copying to USB.
