When testing a feed for a "Hello, world!" program I got this error under Windows 7 (Professional, 64-bit):

"There is an error in XML document (11, 21)"

There is no additional explanation so I don't know where to look. The same feed works OK with Linux and Mac OS X. feedlint finds no problems either. The XML file in question (Hello.xml) is attached. I can't see anything wrong with it. My Windows 0install installation is functional, I can download/install/run the "standard" feeds (e.g. for PuTTY).

It works for me. What version of 0install for Windows are you using?

    V:>0install select --cpu=x86_64 Hello.xml
    - URI: V:\Hello.xml
    Version: 0.1
    Path: (not cached)

    V:>0install --version
    Zero Install Command CLI 1.7.0.0

Well, I fixed this the old-fashioned way. Uninstalled and re-installed ZeroInstall. Now it works. BTW, the 0install --version returns 1.8.1.0.

We'll never know what went wrong. Sorry for the false alarm.
