Any plans on releasing a source tarball of xvst 2.5? I know the code is available on github and I can do a git clone to get the code, but it would be great to have a source release for 2.5. I only see binary releases for the 3 main platforms.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Thanks. But I don't see the source code link to the zip file in the downloads section. All I see is a link to github repository. If source tarballs aren't available on SourceForge or github then it might be nice if the github repo used tagging for its versions. github tagging information (http://learn.github.com/p/tagging.html).

I added the link to source code zip in downloads section (http://xviservicethief.sourceforge.net/index.php?action=downloads#Source).

Looking at the tarball that getdeb.net uses at http://archive.getdeb.net/getdeb/ubuntu/pool/apps/x/xvst/xvst_2.5.orig.tar.xz then the following tag should suffice.
# git tag -a v2.5 072479b
It looks like this feature has already been asked and issue closed (https://github.com/xVST/xVideoServiceThief/issues/5), but I don't see the tag.
Sorry, if I'm missing something obvious.
Thanks,
Lars
Ok, I see the download link for the source code on github. But that is for the master codebase. Do you plan on using versioned source releases?
Thanks,
Lars
