I like these updated graphics, but they need to have a white background to be compatible (otherwise we always end up with a black box behind them. As a bonus, if you're still interested, try to skew the perspective of the port hole so that it matches the perspective of the walls. Ladders look awkward when against walls or doors. The skewing MAY however be a scaling issue in xu4

Fell free to make the background white, and modify the graphics as you see fit. I'd love it if you included them in the next release in a fixed form. As for redrawing them, well, I start my internal medicine rotation at the hospital... tomorrow, so sad to say it won't happen for awhile.
