I get a memory access exception on downloading or
browsing or somewhere else, and the kernel panic on a
black screen freeze the mac. The last messges i get is
the try to start the the debugger and some exception
messages.
I have a iMac G4 with OS X 10.1.5, java 1.3.1 and
Norton Internet Security. On the previous version
(2.4.beta6) i had it too.

Looks like you should get your hardware checked or reinstall
your system. XNap is very CPU and memory intensive, so it is
not unlikely that faulty hardware causes crashes.
