They used to have dos line endings. If I remember correctly, I have changed them to Unix line endings. However, I hadn't test them on MAC. If you are compiling the latest source code, the compiling problem indicates that Unix line endings don't work on MAC.

my bad, I copied the svn source url (which is quite old) when doing a build, tested on the new git repo and it's fine. please close.
