XMHF fails to boot on Intel TXT Platform; restarts during TXT measured launch with TXT.ERRORCODE=c00008d1

Platform specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-2640M CPU @ 2.80GHz x 2 (Lenovo X220T)
OS: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS i386
Kernel: 3.2.0.27-generic
SINIT: QS67 (2nd_gen_i5_i7_SINIT_51.BIN)

Details:
Further look at the SINIT error codes indicates an error regarding inability to access the TPM locality
