I'm new to the forums. Quick question: Is it possible to use xlloop to return an image ? the reason i ask is I want to try grabbing chart images from google's chart API and placing them inside excel.

This isn't possible with the excel addin api (without a lot of horrible hacking of com). You're best best would be to write a vba addin.Cheers,
