certainly not too soon, my resources are very limited these days so I'll
focus on the really important stuff:
- getting video_out/* and the new libmpeg2 fully to work
- fix and polish the xine engine itself (seeking, pause/resume,
speed, metronom once again)
- libac3 - keeping it in sync with Michel's tree
