Xenei Projects release Imago version 1.1

Derived from the Greek work for hospitality, Xenei is a collection of hospitable applications and utilities. Imago, the premier Xenei application, is a servlet that performs XSLT transforms, caches results and provides a mechanism to pass the servlet environment into the XSLT extension elements.

This release provides mechanisms for improving the speed of extension element loading, includes several examples including one that publishes rdf and rss documents to HTML, has improved packaging and documentation. This is the first release since all Xenei projects switched to the Academic Free License.

Some of the the Imago extensions have been split from main line release and are released as ImagoX. These include a form processor, a hit counter and a mail implementation.

Also released are:

Xenei Utilities (version 1.1): This release includes a rewrite of the DB utilities to use the LDBC driver, bug fixes to the caching utilities, and several new utilities to make tracking of version information and loading of resources easier.

Thales (version 1.1): The Xenei indexing engine received minor bug fixes and a migration to LDBC.

Saphes (version 1.0): The newest application in the Xenei stables, Saphes is a simple document management system built on Thales.

Dictionary (version 1.1): This is the first public release of the Xenei dictionary engine built on Thales. This package includes an extension element that allows Imago users to query the database.
