Compiling on Cygwin/WinXP

My PC is 2.0 GHz with 1GB memory. I am trying to compile the xdrawchem on Cygwin/WinXP. Running the ./configure script seems OK and the Makefile has been created. However, the make is taking forever ... (alreday over 2 hours)

The CPU usage has been remaining 100% so the c++ compiler is busy ... but is 2 hrs too long ? Is the hung normal ?
